Although for many of us it odes not feel like it, but in a few months when it is 100 degrees and very humid we would be thinking how a nice cool breeze would feel good about now.

Site opens on 15 Jan 2011…one of those state tax things for the opening. We will have Delmhorst and Agratronics moisture meters and windrow meters, Power Wizard fence chargers and supplies, AG Belt replacement hay gathering wheels, AG Baler belts, and lacing kits.
Also in the Indiana area only…Pritchett Netwrap and twine, Poly Excel Netwrap and twine, Funks Frontiersman RR Corn and Soybean Seed with Genuity chemicals from Sygenta for the pests. Also Ameristand alfalfa. For those needing other seed or another option we have an Indiana Byron Seed connection for you as well. Hope to add some other items.

Know the feeling…nice to take a break. I have to go over the equipment and fix up piece I just bought. Always fun to work in the shop.

we got rain blowing in…and more tomorrow and Tuesday…kind of a day late and a dollar short, but need something in the ground as we lead up to next spring…never thought I would hope for lots of snow during the winter.

Man, are my Colts beat up! Tough year for our offense…Dallas Clark out, lost a couple of receivers, Garcon can only catch 1 of 3 passes and we cannot stop the run…or can we run…feels like the 80’s/90’s in Indy. But Payton is still healthy, not out of the playoffs yet.

Tough hay year in Indiana…first cut ran into wet weather after what looked like an early start. Second and third cut were good for me…then dry, dry, dry. We have had less than an inch since late July. Did not do a fourth cut. After the later third nothing really grew that well…I agree with Rodger from SWIA, glad to see this year go. Glad I did not have any corn in my one row crop patch…corn was awful.

Welcome everyone…post away with your pictures or chat about your ag experiences, clubs, organizations, livestock etc that you have. I am interested in old iron…have a 52 Massey Harris 44 and a1940 Farmall H, I am about ready to hit the starter on after restoring. Also raise some black angus and black angus-limo cross cattle. They make a fine meaty cross. Raise hay as well. Have a partner, my old 4-H leader and his sons…keeps us all out of trouble, but allows us to share machinery as we replace the older with new. Belong to an antique tractor club in Indiana, old 4-Her, retired military, and love farming…wife thinks I am nuts…but lets me in the door anyway. Welcome to AgLoop.
